Seed treated with fungicide

About- Exceptional flavor-filled white sweet corn with tender, sweet kernels. Vigorous 7 foot tall plants produce uniform, large handsome ears with 14 - 16 rows of glossy white kernels that have a delightful creamy texture. Best if picked right at maturity and cooked the same day. Does not hold its sweet flavor beyond maturity and in storage

When and Where to Plant- Select a sunny location and plant when all danger of frost is past and the soil has warmed. For best results, cultivate soil and fertilize with vegetable food. To insure good pollination, sow seed in blocks of at least 4 rows side by side, rather than a long single row. For an extended harvest, plant every 3 weeks until early summer.

Care and Harvest- Grows best in soil with a pH between 6 and 7. Cultivate weekly or mulch between plants and rows to control weeds. Pick when silks turn brown and ears are firm. Test by piercing a few kernels with thumbnail. The skin should be tender and the juice should have a milky look to it. For the best eating experience, pick, prepare, cook and eat the same day.

Silver queen corn

I have grown corn for many years and never had a worm problem. We lived in North GA, but now live in north central Florida, the corn grew well, but we had a worm problem from the time it started. We used liquid Sevin a few times, but still had problems, but the corn we did get was really good. I don’t know if it makes a difference, but we live by peanut fields which are planted in a no till method. But any suggestions for next year, like a pretreatment process. We turn the soil in the winter. Any help would be appreciated. Gardening is a lot different from GA to Florida.
