Red Burgundy Okra Seeds
About- This 1988 AAS winner is a favorite heirloom of our company president! It will produce stunning, burgundy pods on beautiful, emerald-green foliage. The pods remain tender even when they reach a large size. When cooked, pods become a deep green color.
When and Where to Plant- Direct sow once the soil has warmed, approximately 4-6 weeks after the last frost. Prefers well-amended soil and full sun.
Care and Harvest- Water often. Thrives in the heat of summer. Harvest when pods are 6" long or less to avoid toughness. Use pruners to remove pods from the stem.
