About- Cilantro brings a unique, pungent flavor to salads, soups, curries and more. When Cilantro flowers, it produces another herb called Coriander. Coriander has a warm, aromatic flavor and is used as a spice to flavor curry, pickles, and baked goods. Succession plant a every couple weeks to ensure a continual harvest.
When and Where to Plant- Start seeds indoors 2-4 weeks before last frost or direct sow outdoors in late Spring. Select a location with well-drained soil that will get 4-6 hours of sun each day. Cilantro grows best when the temperatures remain between 50-80 degrees.
Care and Harvest- Cilantro can be harvested when the plants are 6-8" tall. To harvest, snip off the outer leaves. Harvest regularly to encourage bushier growth.
