Marjoram Seeds
About- Marjoram has a delicate sweet flavor with a slightly bitter undertone. Commonly used for seasoning soups, stews, dressings, sauces and herbal teas. Similar to Oregano, the leaves are smooth but the aroma is not quite as strong.
When and Where to Plant- Start indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost or sow directly into the garden after the last frost. Thrives in well drained soils with access to full sun.
Care and Harvest- Do not over water! When plants reach 4-6 inches tall, begin to snip fresh leaves. For best flavor, harvest before the plant blooms. Harvest can be extended by removing flower buds as they appear.
