About- A perennial herb in the Mint family, Lemon Balm has been used for centuries for it's therapeutic properties. With a pleasant lemony flavor, it is a popular ingredient in herbal teas, desserts, and savory dishes. Whether used fresh or dried, Lemon Balm possesses a host of benefits. Used to aid in digestion, treat cold sores, and soothe the mind, Lemon Balm is a great addition to any herb garden. 

When and Where to Plant- Start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost and mist with a spray bottle to avoid displacing the seeds. Transplant to pots when the seedlings have 4 true leaves. After last frost, transplant out into well drained soil that will get full sun. 

Care and Harvest- Lemon Balm does not require any special care. You may begin harvesting as soon as the plant is well established, by pinching off individual leaves.
