Italian Dark Green Plain Parsley

About- Italian parsley is a versatile herb used widely in many cuisines. It is highly aromatic and adds a vibrant, earthy flavor to dishes. Parsley is a biennial, meaning it will complete its life cycle in two years. Mulch around your Parsley plants in the Fall to help them overwinter.

When and Where to Plant- Start seeds indoors in 1" cell pots 6-8 weeks before last frost. Transplant out in a sunny location when all danger of frost has passed.

Care and Harvest- Water your Parsley during dry spells, and consider side-dressing with a compost or balanced fertlizer once or twice during the season. Harvest the outer leaves when the plant is fully established, and allow the inner leaves to continue growing. Use the leaves fresh or lay them out on a screen to dry.
