Beautiful Delicious Tomatoes

I had good germination rates. I transplanted the 1st week of May and started harvesting the 2nd week of July. I've been getting big delicious tomatoes averaging a pound. They are more sweet than tart (lower acidity). Delicious on a BLT. I'm growing these in grow bags in zone 6b/7a. These are my favorite tomatoes that I'm growing this year!

Amazing flavor

I produced about a dozen 1-2 pound tomatoes these year. Slow producers, but worth the wait. Highly recommend using some sort of shade netting over the fruit (I used nylon stockings) to protect from the sun. Had a lot of young fruits get sun scald early on. Very sensitive to watering issues. It felt like if you just said the word "rain" they would start cracking. Thankfully the cracking was isolated to the tops and left lots of edible fruit. Though not uncommon with yellow/orange tomatoes. By far one of my favorite tomatoes.

Hillbilly Potato Leaf Tomato

I got very large tomato's that canned very well, they also have a lot longer shelf life than the yellow tomato's I picked. They also had a great germination rate.
