About- Heirloom with a similar taste and smell as cucumber, borage is an excellent culinary herb that is gaining popularity! Borage can be used as a dry herb as well as a fresh garnish for salads and other light dishes.
When and Where to Plant- Direct sow seeds outdoors after the danger of frost has passed and the soil has warmed. Prefers fine, moist soil in full sun conditions but will tolerate partial shade.
Care and Harvest- Water frequently until well established. May require staking or support. To harvest, snip fresh, young leaves in spring and summer as needed.
