About- Roots are large, round, with a small neck and yellow tap-root with a purple top. Flesh is light yellow, firm, sweet, and tender. A dependable variety for large or small-scale production. 

When and Where to Plant- Sow after the danger of the last frost has passed. If you are in a warmer zone, plant seeds in the fall and harvest in the winter. Prefers loose, fertile, well drained soil with a pH of 5.5 to 6.8

Care and Harvest- Roots are best harvested early. Both the greens and bulbs can be harvested to eat.
