Reba Potatoes, (Substitute for Katahdin)

(Mid-Late season, 100-120 days) Cornell University introduction. Smooth, buff colored skin, bright white flesh, round-to-oblong in shape. Shallow to medium eyes, well distributed. Excellent flavor. Good for baking, potato salads, boiling, mashing and making chips. Resistant to common scab, wilt and early blight. Susceptible to late blight, leaf hopper and pink rot. Stores well with few problems. Suitable for home gardeners.

Seed Potatoes are available for shipment from the beginning of March, through early April, or while supplies last. This is the only time of year that seed potatoes are available.

Due to the high volume of orders we receive at this time of year, we are unable to ship potatoes at a later date. If you would like your potatoes to be sent later, please place a separate order for potatoes closer to the date you would like them to be shipped.

STORAGE - To store your seed potatoes before planting, keep them somewhere dark and cool, ideally between 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit. Seed potatoes can keep for months even at temperatures as high as 50 degrees, however, warmer temperatures may cause the potatoes to begin sprouting.
