Peanut Pumpkin
Livingston Seed Packet
About- Unique pink pumpkin with beige bumps that resemble peanuts covering its surface, making this pumpkin truly spectacular. The bumps are caused by the high sugar content that actually extrudes through the skin and continues to form after harvest. Adds a unique look to fall decorations and makes a one of a kind Jack O' Lantern. Pumpkins reach 24" in diameter and weigh 15-25 lbs.
When and Where to Plant- Plant outside after all chance of frost has passed and the soil temperature is above 65 F. Prefers heavily amended soils and full sun.
Care and Harvest- Water heavily 1-2 times per week. When vine begins to die and skin is tough, cut the pumpkin from the vine and allow to harden in the garden.
