About- This Cherokee Purple tomato is ideal for gardeners who prize excellent flavor. Its beautiful, dark pink-purple color and large fruit size make it stand out amongst other heirloom varieties. Believed to have been passed down from the Cherokee Native American Tribe (pre-1890), it is no wonder why the Seed Savers Exchange named it one of the top 10 best heirloom tomato varieties.
