About- Strike produces bumper crops of exceptionally straight, smooth, slender pods. Strike has been the choice for roadside stand growers for many years. Best if harvested young. PVP

When and Where to Plant- Select a sunny location and plant when all danger of frost is past and the soil has warmed. For best results, loosen soil with spade or fork, fertilize with vegetable food and smooth over with a rake. Firm soil over seed and keep soil moist. For a continuous supply of fresh beans, plant every 3 weeks.

Care and Harvest- Grows best in a soil with a pH between 6 and 7, and just a light application of fertilizer. Water at ground level to reduce the probability of disease. Pick beans every 2-3 days, when pods are 4-6 inches long and before seeds develop and the sides bulge. Hold the stem with one hand and pick with the other hand to avoid tearing the plant.

Amazing production

Strike was the most productive bush green bean I've grown in my nearly 50 years of gardening. Plants were loaded with delicious, disease-free beans. I picked every 3-4 days from July through September. When I ran out of freezer space, I donated at least 30 lbs of them to local food bank.
