Seed treated with fungicide

About- This sugar enhanced bi-color has outstanding eating quality and is noted for its early seeding vigor. Stalks grow 7 feet tall and produce 8 inch ears that are somewhat tolerant to smut. Ambrosia has mouth-watering sweetness and old fashioned sweet corn taste, unlike any other bi-colored sweet corn. Our best selling bicolor sweet corn.

When and Where to Plant- Select a sunny location and plant when all danger of frost is past and the soil has warmed. For best results, cultivate soil and fertilize with vegetable food. To ensure good pollination, sow seed in blocks of at least 4 rows side by side, rather than a long single row. For an extended harvest, plant every 3 weeks until early summer.

Care and Harvest- Grows best in a soil with a pH between 6 and 7. Cultivate weekly or mulch between plants and rows to control weeds. Pick when silks turn brown and ears are firm. Test by piercing a few kernels with thumbnail. The skin should be tender and the juice should have a milky look to it. For the best eating experience, pick, prepare, cook and eat the same day.

Ambrosia corn

Have ordered this from you several years with never a problem. This year stalks reached 3 1/2 - 4” high with one ear per stalk. The ears were not completely filled out on most of the ears. Never had this to happen! Any ideas??

Ambrosia corn seed

I planted the Ambrosia corn seed from your organization on April 8th when the soil temperature was over 70° and got if best 60% germination. I've been planning this particular variety for over 15 years now and have never had as poor germination as with this particular seed. I will be planning the second batch of that seed in approximately 2 days and I will let you know how that batch turned out. I am not at all optimistic.
