Lehigh Potatoes

(Early-Mid, 90-110 days) Named after Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley. This “blue-collar” variety produces high yields and grows well in many climates. Great all-purpose potato. Plants are semi-erect and shorter than Yukon Gold. Round to oblong, slightly flattened tubers. Uniform, moderately smooth netted, buff colored skin with yellow at the base of the eyes. Striking yellow flesh color. Excellent for soups, stews, mashing or fries. Cooks moist but firm. Is not susceptible to hollow heart or breakdown in storage. Blackspot re-sistant. Tolerant to common scab.

Seed Potatoes are available for shipment from the beginning of March, through early April, or while supplies last. This is the only time of year that seed potatoes are available.

Due to the high volume of orders we receive at this time of year, we are unable to ship potatoes at a later date. If you would like your potatoes to be sent later, please place a separate order for potatoes closer to the date you would like them to be shipped.

STORAGE - To store your seed potatoes before planting, keep them somewhere dark and cool, ideally between 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit. Seed potatoes can keep for months even at temperatures as high as 50 degrees, however, warmer temperatures may cause the potatoes to begin sprouting.
