About- This beautiful golf ball-sized carrot is a bright orange and about 1” round in diameter at maturity. This unique French heirloom is a great option for shallow or rocky soils. A great option for containers and raised beds!
Planting- Plant in the spring once the soil temperature has reached 45 or in the fall up to 2 months before the first frost. Sprinkle approximately 30 seeds per 1-foot row and leave 12-16” between rows. Performs best in well-drained sandy loam soils.
Care & Harvest- Seeds may take up to three weeks to germinate. Be sure to provide even moisture throughout the growing season. Loosen the soil around roots to harvest when carrots are about 1” in diameter.
