Organic Carrot Seeds - USDA Danvers 126 (500 Seeds)
Amish Country Organic, By Rohrer Seeds
About- A popular variety that has been grown for several generations by home gardeners. Typically produces carrots that average about 6" in length and have unique blunt ends and an exceptional delicious flavor! Does better in compact soils than the longer varieties.
When and Where to Plant- Prefers full sun but can tolerate some shade. Will grow best in deep loose, well-drained soil. Sow directly into the garden rather than starting indoors and transplanting.
Care and Harvest- When thinning, cut plants instead of pulling them out or it may damage root systems of adjacent plants. When carrots have reached maturity, gently pull them up by the tops.
