Chocolate Cherry Sunflower Seeds
About- The rich-burgundy, chocolate colors of this multi-branching sunflower make it an ideal candidate for cut flower arrangements. Colors range from rich chocolate to dark black cherry with a yellow ring around the center. Heads average 5”-8” in diameter. Contains less pollen than traditional heirloom sunflowers.
When and Where to Plant- Direct sow in the spring after the threat of frost has passed. Prefers well draining soils and full sun.
Care and Harvest- Keep soil moist, but do not over water. Harvest when the first color of the petals appear and remove foliage for longer vase life.
