Nantes Carrot Seeds
About- This nearly coreless variety is well known for its bright orange color and sweet, crisp flavor. Averaging about 7" in length, this variety is excellent for both freezing and juicing.
When and Where to Plant- Prefers full sun but can tolerate some shade. Will grow best in deep loose, well-drained soil. Sow directly into the garden rather than starting indoors and transplanting.
Care and Harvest- When thinning, cut plants instead of pulling them out or it may damage root systems of adjacent plants. When carrots have reached maturity, gently pull them up by the tops.
