Carpet Of Snow Alyssum Seeds
About- Carpet of Snow Alyssum is an heirloom favorite for edging flower beds and window boxes due to its low-maintenance, ground cover-like habit and pure white, fragrant flowers. It grows 4-5" high while blooming all summer long and is resistant to deer. This easy to grow plant makes a great addition to any garden.
When and Where to Plant- Alyssum seeds require light to germinate, take care not to cover with more than 1/8" of soil. Start seeds indoors 4-6 weeks before last frost or sow outdoors after danger of frost. Plant in a location with well-draining soil that receives 8+ hours of direct sun light.
Care and Harvest- Water sparingly as to much moisture will cause root rot. Prune and deadhead as the season progresses. Although considered an annual it is common for alyssum to reseed itself, returning to following season.
