Tall Utah Celery Seeds
About- Tall Utah Celery is the ideal choice for gardeners. It offers dark green plants averaging 30" tall, producing refreshingly light flavored, crisp and stringless 12" stalks.
When and Where to Plant- Celery needs light to germinate so sow seeds very shallowly. In cool climates, sow indoors, then moisten and cover with clear plastic. When celery leaves begin to emerge, remove the plastic cover and place the container in a sunny spot, always keeping soil moist. When there are two true leaves, transplant outside when soil has warmed and night temperatures have been above 40°.
Care and Harvest- Celery needs a steady supply of moisture. Harvest stalks from the outside of the plants whenever they are large enough, or you can harvest the entire plant by cutting them at the soil line. For best flavor and longest storage, water the plants the day before harvest.
