About- Produces 10-12 inch, bronze-red heads with a crisp green heart. Dark red color develops best in cool weather. Excellent variety for a fall lettuce crop. Red romaine is a unique heirloom that has extra crunchy texture and works well in a Caesar salad. This versatile variety can be grown throughout the growing season.
