About- Excellent for salads, Little Gem has a slightly nutty flavor. As an Old English heirloom, this small variety produces 4-6" heads. 

When and Where to Plant- Plant in an area with full to partial sun. Grows best in loose, well-draining soils.

Care and Harvest- Water regularly. Does not require heavy fertilization. Harvest as desired between baby leaf stage and maturity.
